Terms of Use

Welcome to Chic Connection. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Chic Connection mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by DN Solutions Group, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

About the Operator

The Chic Connection app and website are owned and operated by DN Solutions Group, LLC. Throughout these Terms, references to "Chic Connection," "we," "us," or "our" refer to DN Solutions Group, LLC as the operator of the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Chic Connection. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You may not use the Service if you have been previously banned or removed from the platform.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile up to date
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate others, or use another person's account without permission
• You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or as described in our Data Deletion Policy

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Share content that is illegal, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or sexually explicit
• Solicit money, promote commercial services, or engage in spam
• Share another person's private information without consent
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
• Circumvent security features, matching limits, or subscription requirements
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to investigate violations and take appropriate action, including content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service ("User Content"), including photos, videos, messages, and profile information. By posting User Content, you grant Chic Connection a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all User Content you submit and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

5. Matching and Features

Chic Connection provides intentional matching features, including a limit of three meaningful matches per month for eligible users. Match availability, features, and limits may vary based on your subscription tier and are subject to change. We do not guarantee that you will find a match or form a relationship through the Service.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features require a paid subscription processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By purchasing a subscription:

• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions renew automatically according to your selected plan unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of Apple or Google
• We may change subscription pricing with or without notice where required by applicable law

California residents: See Section 16 for additional disclosures required under California's Automatic Renewal Law.

7. Safety and Interactions

Chic Connection facilitates connections between users but is not responsible for the conduct of users on or off the platform. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Please read our Safety Guidelines and exercise caution when meeting people in person.

Report suspicious or harmful behavior through the in-app reporting feature or contact support@chicconnection.com.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logos, trademarks, software, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by DN Solutions Group, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DN SOLUTIONS GROUP, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DN Solutions Group, LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Additional Terms for California Residents

If you are a California resident, the following additional terms apply to you in accordance with California law.

16.1 Automatic Renewal Disclosures (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17600 et seq.)

California's Automatic Renewal Law requires clear disclosure and affirmative consent for subscriptions that renew automatically. When you purchase a Chic Connection subscription:

• Automatic renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Express consent: By completing your purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you provide express affirmative consent to the automatic renewal terms presented at checkout, including the subscription price, billing frequency, and renewal period.
• How to cancel: You may cancel at any time using the same platform through which you subscribed:
  • Apple (iOS): Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Chic Connection → Cancel Subscription
  • Google (Android): Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Chic Connection → Cancel
• You may also contact us at support@chicconnection.com for cancellation assistance.
• Cancellation timing: Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period to avoid charges for the next period.
• Free or promotional trials: If we offer a free or discounted trial, we will clearly disclose before you are charged that the subscription will convert to a paid plan unless cancelled, the amount and frequency of charges after the trial, and how to cancel. We will provide advance notice before a trial converts to a paid subscription where required by law.
• Renewal and change notices: We will provide notices of automatic renewals, material changes to subscription terms or pricing, and annual subscription reminders as required by California law, through the App Store, Google Play, email, or in-app notification.
• Recordkeeping: We retain records of your consent to automatic renewal terms for the period required by California law.

16.2 California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents may have additional privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. Details on how to exercise your California privacy rights are set out in our Privacy Policy. To submit a request, email privacy@chicconnection.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request."

16.3 Consumer Complaints

Pursuant to California Civil Code § 1789.3, California residents may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210 or (916) 445-1254.

16.4 Non-Waivable Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that California law provides to consumers and that cannot be waived by contract.
